Master metalworker & artistic blacksmith

Jan Schrader

Jan sees himself not only as a craftsman carrying out work, but also as a development partner for demanding projects.
He accompanies projects from the beginning, thinks constructively ahead, and develops systems that combine design, function, and feasibility.

His strength lies in recognizing complex requirements early on and translating them into clear, feasible solutions. This results in designs that are technically sophisticated, aesthetically precise, and resilient in the long term.

His focus is always on the big picture – with the aim of thinking about projects holistically and implementing them at a high level of craftsmanship.

Journeyman Metalworker

Paul Kandzia

Paul successfully completed his apprenticeship at our forge and is now a journeyman and a key member of our team. In his daily work, he is increasingly taking on responsibility in the workshop and is gradually developing into a leadership role.

He works precisely, thinks proactively, and maintains an overview even with complex tasks. His sense of proportion and clean execution are particularly noteworthy – qualities that are clearly reflected in the quality of our work.

He is still fascinated by working with metal because of its durability and the almost unlimited design possibilities.

Product Manager

Max Falk

Max is currently training to be a blacksmith and is primarily focused on making door hinges and other traditional blacksmithing work. He is particularly fascinated by how steel can be transformed into a precise, durable component using fire, hammer, and anvil.

He was fascinated by working with metal from an early age, as this material offers both enormous stability and great creative freedom. The decision to pursue this apprenticeship was easy for him because it allows him to combine traditional craftsmanship with creativity.

The sense of community also plays an important role for him: He greatly appreciates teamwork – working together, laughing and having fun makes everyday life in the forge special for him.
